GREENCASTLE, Pa. (March 11, 2015) – The Antrim Township Board of Supervisors approved the development plan for a new urgent care facility to be constructed by Chambersburg Health Services at the off-ramp of Exit 3 next to Sheetz.
“We are very appreciative of the Board of Supervisors and Township staff, especially Manager Brad Graham and Zoning Officer Sylvia House, in the review and approval process. We found the Antrim Township Board great to work with.
“There were several issues to work through on our plan and Supervisor James Byers and Supervisor Fred Young’s willingness to meet with us in the field to discuss our development on an extremely cold day last week went above and beyond the call of duty,” said G. Bryan Salzmann, Esq., counsel to Chambersburg Health Services and Summit Health.
John Massimilla, chief operating officer at Chambersburg Hospital echoed those comments: “We are excited about providing this much needed medical facility to serve the Antrim Township area. The strategic location at the intersection of Interstate 81 and U.S. Route 11 should provide important access to those who are in need of urgent care.”
A summer to fall 2015 construction schedule is planned with the hopes of a grand opening in 2016.
